Assortment and Volume
Specify the minimum order quantity, the possibility of mixing models and colors, the availability of samples, and the reordering procedure. Agree on the exact configuration of each item so that factory offers can be compared.
Materials and execution
Discuss materials, hardware, upholstery, and finish options. Fix the SKUs and color samples. If compatibility with already sold furniture is important, provide photos and specifications.
Availability and Lead Times
Separate items in stock from made-to-order products. Clarify from which event the factory starts counting the production period and how they notify you of changes. Do not accept an estimated timeframe as a confirmed delivery date.
Price and Delivery
Request a quote with a clear cost breakdown. Specify packaging, delivery, unloading, assembly, and the minimum order amount. Discuss payment terms and the quote's validity period directly with the supplier.
Post-delivery Workflow
Clarify the acceptance procedure, the set of required documents, and the contact person for inquiries regarding missing parts or damages. For regular deliveries, pre-arrange who will manage orders and update assortment information.
